Principal Turbine Engineer

Top tier, Mid-Atlantic municipal power company is hiring to accommodate a series of capital upgrades within their nuclear generating facilities.
They are seeking a Principal Turbine Engineer. This full-time role offers terrific array of benefits, opportunities and interesting projects. Temperate Mid-Atlantic location offers full relocation benefits from anywhere in the country.
As a Principal Turbine Engineer, you will have opportunity to:
· Provide full lifecycle vendor oversight of steam turbine upgrades.
· Assess scope of work. Explore alternative solutions.
· Provide field support during modification walkdowns, installation and testing.
· Interface with the team members, including Project Management, Operations, Maintenance, Plant Engineering, etc.
· Work with system engineers to ensure adequate systems integration.
· Support Operations and Maintenance technical procedural changes.
You’ll bring:
· STEM degree with 12-30+ years performing related Engineering work
· Experience in turbine operation and design with a power plant or vendor.
· Engineering support of large-scale plant modifications.
As well as:
· Project Management experience
· Power uprate experience
· System engineering/test engineer experience and/or qualification
· PWR experience ideal
