Facilities Coordinator
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Salary: $70,000 – $75,000
Leading and well renowned chemical manufacturer of glass, electronic displays and chemical products located in the northern suburbs of Philadelphia, is looking for a talented and motivated FACILITIES COORDINATOR to help ensure a safe, functional and comfortable environment at the company’s Philadelphia facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Leads the maintenance function for the Exton facility to ensure a safe and functional operation; ensures utility continuity.
· Works directly with all contractors, equipment manufacturers, building owners, Company management, government agencies and local law enforcement and emergency services.
· Leads and coordinates all repairs, installation, renovations and upgrade activities for the building and equipment.
· Obtains quotes and coordinates all activities for contract work and ensures building availability.
· Creates, develops, identifies, and writes EPs for CAPEX
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma with 5 years’ related experience, trade school certification a plus
· Minimum 5 years’ experience managing contractors.
· Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office
· Experience operating varied lab equipment and pilot-scaled production equipment.
· Base understanding of electrical, mechanical, HVAC and hydraulics is a plus.
· Good communication skills, strong organization skills, a firm grasp on dealing with contractors and vendors.
· Must be able to work overtime during the week and the weekend.
