Lead Scheduler
Location: Wilson, NC
Salary: $100,000 – $150,000
We are seeking an experienced Lead Scheduler to oversee scheduling for pharmaceutical construction projects. This full-time, on-site role requires deep expertise in Primavera P6 and Open Plan (OPC) and proven leadership in managing teams. The Lead Scheduler will guide a group of three schedulers, ensuring that project timelines are realistic, accurate, and aligned with client and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor a team of three schedulers, providing direction and oversight
• Develop, maintain, and update detailed construction schedules for multiple active projects
• Ensure all schedules include accurate logic, resource loading, and critical path analysis
• Review contractor and design team schedules for accuracy, constructability, and compliance
• Monitor schedule performance, track deviations, and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare progress reports, variance analyses, and trend data for leadership review
• Facilitate schedule review meetings and coordinate updates with project managers and stakeholders
• Maintain records of changes, lessons learned, and historical data to support continuous improvement
Qualifications
• 12–20 years of scheduling experience in construction, with a focus on pharmaceutical projects
• Strong expertise in Primavera P6 and OPC scheduling tools
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing scheduling teams
• In-depth understanding of construction sequencing, commissioning, and validation in regulated environments
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related discipline preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
