Location: Cincinnati, OH

Salary: $70,000 – $100,000

A growing commercial contractor in Cincinnati is hiring two Estimators to support an expanding project pipeline — one focused on flooring systems, and one on Division 10 specialties.

If you understand how to read drawings, build scopes, and put together clean, competitive numbers, this is a strong opportunity to join a team that values accuracy, communication, and follow-through.

This is not a plug-and-play bid role. You’ll work closely with leadership and operations to think through projects, identify risk, and help position jobs for success.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects

• Perform takeoffs and scope reviews from plans and specifications

• Build and level bids across subcontractors and vendors

• Identify gaps, overlaps, and risk in project scope

• Develop clear bid summaries and support internal reviews

• Work with project teams to support preconstruction and handoff

What They’re Looking For

• Experience estimating flooring systems OR Division 10 specialties

• Background in commercial construction estimating

• Ability to read drawings and perform accurate takeoffs

• Strong attention to detail and organization

• Good communication skills – internally and with vendors/subs

• Someone who takes ownership of their work and thinks critically
