Construction Safety Leader

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Salary: $100,000 – $140,000

The Role

A growing design-build contractor is hiring a hands-on Safety Leader to take ownership of safety across active projects and help build the program as the company scales.

This is not a clipboard role.

You will set the tone in the field, build the structure behind it, and work directly with operations to make safety part of how projects are executed day to day.

What You’ll Own

• Lead safety across multiple commercial construction sites

• Build and standardize safety programs, training, and materials

• Develop JSAs, lift plans, and site-specific safety plans

• Conduct jobsite audits and drive corrective action in real time

• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis

• Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents as a field-facing leader

• Work with subcontractors to enforce expectations and elevate performance

• Support compliance, reporting, and required filings

What You Bring

• Experience leading safety in commercial or industrial construction

• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards

• Ability to operate in the field and influence crews and leadership

• Experience building or improving safety programs, not just maintaining them

• OSHA 30 required

• CHST, CSP, or similar certifications are a plus
