Quality Assurance Technician

Location: Allentown, PA

Salary: $43,000 – $48,000

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Quality Assurance Technician. This role is responsible for supporting product quality by performing inspections, audits, and testing to ensure all standards and specifications are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform regular inspections and quality checks on production materials and finished goods, including both routine and specialized evaluations.

· Measure and analyze samples to ensure conformity with defined tolerances and specifications.

· Review and verify quality control documentation for accuracy and completion.

· Participate in audits of manufacturing processes and products using established criteria.

· Support the inspection of incoming materials from both internal and external sources as needed.

· Verify that specific production instructions are followed precisely during the manufacturing process.

· Collaborate in updating and maintaining standard operating procedures.

· Assist with the development of testing protocols and carry out internal quality audits.

· Help ensure workplace safety and compliance with quality standards across production areas.

Requirements and Qualifications:

· 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (experience in metalworking or coatings is a plus).

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Familiarity with ISO 9000 standards and 5S methodologies preferred.

· Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality issues.

· Comfortable working in a hands-on production environment; forklift experience is advantageous.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

· Consistent work history with a strong sense of responsibility.

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

· Capable of managing time efficiently in a high-output, fast-moving setting.
