Salary: $125,000 – $145,000

A growing, innovation-driven manufacturing company is looking for a Director of Quality & Operational Excellence to take the lead on quality initiatives across the organization. Your Impact

In this role, you’ll oversee all aspects of quality assurance and control—from raw material intake to finished product performance. You’ll lead a dedicated quality team, influence product development, and be a key driver of operational improvement.

What You’ll Do

✔ Quality Leadership

· Design, implement, and optimize quality control processes across production and lab operations

· Develop and enforce SOPs, quality tracking, and compliance systems

· Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve issues and improve processes

✔ Customer & Supplier Excellence

· Analyze and resolve customer complaints with data-driven solutions

· Evaluate and manage supplier quality performance to ensure raw material standards

· Build strategies that enhance product consistency and customer satisfaction

✔ Product Innovation Support

· Oversee quality testing for new formulations and product trials alongside R&D and production

· Conduct lab testing to ensure new products meet internal and external expectations

· Provide technical input throughout the product development cycle

✔ Team Development & Continuous Improvement

· Lead and mentor two Quality Lab Technicians

· Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to boost efficiency and reduce waste

· Stay informed on regulatory updates, ISO standards, and industry certifications

What You Bring

· 10+ years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment (tapes, adhesives, or films is required)

· Strong background in ISO standards, SPC, and Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred)

· Hands-on experience with lab testing, product development, and quality systems implementation

· Proven ability to lead teams and manage vendor/customer relationships

· Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

· Travel – 10%
