Cleanroom Service Engineer
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Salary: $70,000 – $100,000
We are seeking a skilled Cleanroom Service Engineer to support and commission HVAC and control systems for advanced cleanroom construction projects across the U.S. This role is based near Cincinnati and requires frequent travel to customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
• Commission, troubleshoot, and optimize HVAC and DDC control systems in cleanroom environments
• Calibrate sensors, balance systems, and adjust equipment (chillers, AHUs, humidifiers, etc.)
• Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
• Provide hands-on and remote support to ensure systems meet strict performance and regulatory standards
• Partner with project managers, engineers, and clients throughout system installation and handover
• Travel extensively nationwide (up to 85%), with company-paid flights home every other weekend
Qualifications
• HVAC certification or equivalent technical training
• 5+ years of experience in HVAC and digital controls
• Strong troubleshooting ability with mechanical and electrical systems
• Experience in cleanrooms, dry rooms, or other regulated environments strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Schneider Electric controls or Procore a plus
• Comfortable with laptops, tablets, and cloud-based tools
• Willingness to travel extensively
Compensation & Benefits
• Base salary $70,000–$100,000 depending on experience
