Civil Engineer II
Location: San Diego, CA
Salary: $85,000 – $105,000
Seeking a Civil Engineer to support design and execution of land and site development projects. This role involves conceptual design, detailed engineering, and coordination across disciplines to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions.
Responsibilities
· Develop conceptual and detailed civil designs for land/site development projects.
· Perform calculations and design work using Civil3D and related software.
· Prepare plans, specifications, reports, and technical documentation.
· Review and check design computations, drawings, and estimates.
· Assist with field investigations, inspections, and resolving design issues.
· Research zoning, permitting, and regulatory requirements.
· Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate project phases.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required).
· EIT certification; PE license in progress preferred.
· 3+ years of civil engineering experience, land/site development preferred.
· Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil3D, and stormwater modeling tools (HEC-RAS, StormCAD, PCSWMM, etc.).
· Strong knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, drainage, and BMP design.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
