Gary Kane, President and CEO
Meet Gary Kane, a staffing industry entrepreneur. In 1985, Gary co-founded Texcel, Inc., a highly successful Mid-Atlantic staffing solutions provider. Through personal performance and leadership, Gary helped build Texcel, Inc. into a $10-million operation which was sold to a publicly traded national staffing firm in 1998. Gary remained with the new firm, leading the company’s Mid-Atlantic region until his departure in 2004. During his tenure at Texcel, Inc. Gary’s strength as a manager and a revenue producer earned him “Recruiter-of-The-Year” awards for 9 consecutive years. Gary also developed innovative new models, leading the organization into multiple new markets. While at Texcel, Inc., Gary provided strong leadership, ensuring the profitability of the Mid-Atlantic region, even during the challenging times following 9/11.
In late 2004, Gary formed Kane Partners LLC. Kane Partners is a contingency and retained technical staffing firm with an established presence in the Mid-Atlantic manufacturing, engineering and IT markets. Kane Partners has established a strong client base, and was nominated as one of the 100-fastest growing companies in the Philadelphia area.
Gary’s reputation is firmly established as a talented executive who is one of the nation’s top recruiting managers and team builders. Gary derives his success from his tireless work ethic and from the proficiency of the recruiting teams he has trained and mentored.
As the founder of Kane Partners, LLC, Gary is a member of American Staffing Association, Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce, Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, Suburban Chamber of Commerce, Whitpain Business Club, and the Midlantic Business Alliance.
Gary is also a dedicated family man, married to his lovely wife Joanne for 28 years. Together they have 8 children and 2 grand-children. He remains active in his church community, coaches CYO basketball and township soccer. He enjoys golf and fine dining.
Len Lasek, Partner
Len Lasek, Partner at Kane Partners since 2004, was an integral part of establishing the foundation and mission for Kane Partners LLC. Len brings over 20+ years of technical search experience to Kane Partners, clients and candidates. Len has spearheaded the training of the Kane Partners Team in best practices for staffing. As an executive team member, Len manages each client’s hiring life cycle, from understanding the job description to the placement of the candidate. Len’s industry experience and knowledge have proven invaluable for our clients and candidates.
Len began his staffing career with Texcel Inc. at its inception in 1985. Len held a range of roles from Senior Recruiter to Agency Manager. Len is best known for managing one of the largest agencies at Texcel, with his specialties in the engineering and pharmaceutical markets. He has led national recruitment efforts for government projects for RCA and GE, requiring travel and on-site recruiting for a variety of security levels for technical personnel from Secret- to-Top-Secret and all levels of EBI. Recruiting sites included the popular technical hotspots in VA, TX, CO, FL, RI, and PA. Len has hired, trained and managed recruiting staff in the Engineering, Information Technology and Pharmaceutical disciplines.
Upon his college graduation Len began his career as an elementary school teacher for several years before transitioning into the staffing industry. Len holds a BS in Psychology and a MA in Elementary Education from Temple University.
Len and his wife, Tina, reside in Philadelphia, PA and are proud parents of three children. Len enjoys golf, gardening, keeping in touch with friends and travel.
J. Christopher Gormley, Partner
J. Christopher Gormley (Chris) is a highly experienced staffing executive with over 20 years of broad experience in the industry.
Chris initiated his career in the staffing industry in 1985 with Texcel, Inc. As an individual contributor, Chris’ performance has consistently been in the top 10% of all recruiters nationwide. Quickly moving into management, Chris focused on critical issues and results orientation that has merited success since many of his charges have experienced higher levels of accomplishment that include: target market penetration, key account development and off-site recruiting initiatives. Chris was instrumental in leading the recruiting efforts for major clients such as RCA’s Satellite Division, GE’s Space Station Division, MBNA, IBC and Dow Jones. Among his accomplishments, Chris has been formally recognized as a top revenue producer in 2003 and in the same year was named one of two finalists for Manager of the Year.
Chris left Texcel in 2004 to move to corporate recruiting at Unisys where he continued to excel as a highly regarded member of the Global Recruiting organization. In his first full year, he was ranked third out of 70 recruiters against the heavily weighted TCH (total compensation hired) metric. He was also formally trained in the Behavioral Interviewing Technique, a valuable tool in establishing the relative fit of a candidate for a given role.
In 2006, Chris was recruited to Kane Partners as a Managing Director, leveraging much of his past experience to aid in Kane Partners’ transition from start-up to major player in the technical staffing market.
In 2008, Chris was promoted to Partner in recognition of his innovative approach and outstanding performance. He continues to contribute at multiple levels, including individual contributor, account manager, staff training, mentoring and management.
Chris is an active member of his Church, past soccer coach (for seven years), and recent member of the Pastoral Council.
Tom Rinaldi, Managing Director
Tom is a highly experienced staffing executive with over 20 years of broad experience in the industry. After a successful career in the Air Force as a pilot and trainer, Tom entered the staffing industry as a technical recruiter in 1980.
In 1985 Tom co-founded Texcel, Inc., a Philadelphia area based technical staffing company. Tom was President of Texcel, Inc. from its inception until it was sold to a public company in 1998. Tom stayed on after the sale as President of Texcel, Inc. and later went on to be the National Division President for permanent placement staffing for the parent company.
Some of the major accomplishments during his years at Texcel were as follows:
- Managing the steady growth of the company to be a recognized technical staffing leader in the Philadelphia region with over $10 million in sales.
- The development of the satellite division of RCA as a major client and the subsequent staffing of their systems and development engineering groups.
- The development of the Space Station Communications division of GE and the successful staffing of their software, hardware and systems engineering groups.
- The constant evaluation and implementation of state-of-the-art recruiting methods and tools that allowed for the success of specialized national recruiting efforts to meet client’s needs repeatedly in an efficient, timely and dependable fashion.
Tom joined Kane Partners in 2008 as a Managing Director where he continues to excel in the areas of client relationship development and qualified candidate delivery for those clients with highly specialized technical needs.
Tom has a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from The Catholic University of America and a Masters Degree in Personnel Counseling from Troy State University.

Kristin Kane is the Director of Social Media & Recruiting with Kane Partners Staffing Solutions. Her responsibilities include client company development, sourcing top industry talent for various engagements as well as directing Kane Partners numerous social media programs. As Director of Social Media, her role entails developing and managing the organization’s social media market presence, including business educational programs, business seminars, blogging, multi-media marketing campaigns as well maintaining the KP website. In short, Kristin is the face of Kane Partners for all things media related!
Kristin has been a continuing special guest on NBC10s ‘Survive and Thrive’ with Tracy Davidson as a subject-matter-expert providing career advice for job seekers and answering questions via Facebook. Kristin can be seen across the Philadelphia region speaking on various topics including LinkedIn, Social Media, Career/Job topics and Networking.
Kristin is active in several networking, women and job support groups. She is also a member in two local chambers of commerce. Her community involvement includes: Technology Chair, on the Board of Governors for the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce, Ambassador for the Philadelphia Business Journal and Career Development Chair of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Fairfield University Alumni Association. She is also an active volunteer on planning/steering committees and involved in community outreach programs.
Kristin is a graduate of Fairfield University. Her passions include social media, travel, photography, outdoor life and activities. Kristin and her husband Michael live in Harleysville and are both actively involved with the LIVESTRONG Challenge.
