Growth opportunity for a technical sharp, self-motivated individual with experience in installing and troubleshooting electrical controls systems.  The selected candidate will be able to work with operators and maintenance personnel for both training and troubleshooting purposes.

Technical Requirements

  • 5+ years experience with electrical systems, including wiring, control panels, and the ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Troubleshooting expertise with motors, scanners, VFDs, photoeyes, encoders and other electrical control equipment.
  • Experience with PC controllers, I/O communications and networking.  Experience with Unix or QNX OS is a plus.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and troubleshoot mechanical issues related to conveyor systems.
  • Understanding of pneumatics and the ability to troubleshoot pneumatic systems
  • PLC, SCADA, HMI  experience

Required Soft Skills

  • Excellent communications skills – must be able to work with a wide variety of professionals and tradesman.
  • Must take initiative, be a decisive and show confidence in decisions made.
  • Must be able to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance.
  • Ability to develop written technical documentation.
  • Experience working in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
